Our
Service in 10 Steps
1 - Getting in touch
You may get in touch with GenderWays through this website
or by a phone call to get a quotation for the medical
treatments you are interested in. Our Patient Information
advisors will answer your request and send you information
about the treatments, the physicians that carry them
out and an accurate quotation for a medical trip tailored
to your needs.

2- Asking for Information
before Traveling
Before making the decision to travel, you may get in
touch with a Patient Information advisor and ask any
questions or doubts you may have about the trip or the
treatments. You may also ask for medical advice on your
particular case. The advisor will pass your questions
on to the physician and then will forward you the doctor’s
answers (if you wish to receive more specific advice,
you may send pictures or previous medical tests for
the physician to analyze).

3 - Confirmation of the Treatment
After all aspects of the trip and treatments have been
agreed upon and if the physician confirms that you are
fit to undergo the treatment you are interested in,
you will be assigned a tentative date for the trip.
The date will be set according to your convenience and
the reservations will be temporary (until the first
payment of 20% of the whole package’s cost is
made).

4 - Schedule
Once the first payment is made (via Western Union or
bank transfer) GenderWays will confirm the date of the
treatment. An assistant from our Patient Care Center
helps you with the hotel reservations, assigns the personal assistant
and organizes the transfer services. GenderWays will
plan a personalized trip and send the schedule to you
(if you have applied for a surgical procedure, this
plan will include medical consultations prior to the
surgery). You may be asked to send previous medical
tests or pictures, if necessary.

5 - Final Payment
The second payment (the remaining balance) must be made
30 days before the trip in order to confirm the reservations
and to get all the materials needed for the procedure.

6 - The Trip
You will arrive at the Ezeiza International Airport
(EZE). One of our personal assistants will welcome you
at the airport and drive you to the hotel. The representative
will check with you all the details of your trip.

7 - Before the Treatment
Before actually undergoing the treatment, you will have
the necessary medical tests done. Both in this case
and during the face-to-face consultation with the physician,
a GenderWays’ assistant will be there with you.
Your consultation will take place on a pre-arranged
day and time and you will be able to explain your expectations
as regards the treatment.

8 - The Medical Treatment
Once the results of the medical tests are ready and
after meeting the physician, you will have the desired
treatments done. We will drive you to the clinic and
ensure you are relaxed and comfortable. If a great number
of surgical procedures were necessary, the surgeon may
choose to carry them out in two or more independent
interventions.

9 - Recovery
You will have to follow the doctor’s instructions
during your recovery. The first few days after surgery
are the most important ones, and you should try to get
adequate rest. Usually, 2 to 4 post-surgical appointments
will be necessary for the surgeon to check your general
condition and ensure you are healing well.

10 - Discharge and Going
Back Home
On the last consultation, the stitches will be removed
(if applicable) and you will be granted a medical authorization
to return to your country. A GenderWays’ personal
assistant will take you from the hotel to the airport
and you will fly back home.
Our commitment doesn't end there. GenderWays
will keep in touch with you even after you have returned
to your country, and we will gladly answer any questions
you may have about your recovery.
